Job Details For Excavator Operators In Canada

• Location: Nisku, AB
• Workplace: On-site (Remote work is not available)
• Salary: $25.00 – $41.00 per hour (Negotiable)
• Hours: 40 to 60 hours per week
• Employment Type: Full-time, Seasonal
• Shifts Available: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
• Start Date: As soon as possible

Excavator Operators Requirements

• Language: English
• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation

Work Environment

• Work will take place at various locations
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and in changing weather conditions

Job Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate onboard logs and other necessary records
• Conduct pre-operational checks on machinery to ensure safety and functionality
• Prepare accident reports if required

Equipment Experience

• Heavy Equipment Operated: Excavators, Backhoes, Loaders, Bulldozers (large & small), Graders, Compactors, Pavers, Rollers, Front-End Loaders, Bobcats
• Machinery Experience: Skid Steers

Areas of Work Experience

• Asphalt finishing
• Excavation, backfilling, and trenching
• Grading (fine and rough)
• Sloping and banking
• Demolition and material handling
• Sub-grade excavation and rolling
• Ditching and stripping
• Snow removal

Industry Experience

• Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) construction
• Road construction

Additional Requirements

• Transportation: Must have own transportation
• Work Conditions: Attention to detail required
• Required Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
